The Last Six Months

In October of 2010 we went to North Carolina to see Aaron, April, Rylen, and our new addition Aletheia.  I had never been to the east coast and looked forward to that.  Of course I wanted to see my kids, and love on my grandbabies.  We spent a week with the kids, and really enjoyed ourselves.
this was a amazing sunset at the airport in Georgia while we waited to go home.
While we were there we got a call from our landlord, and he informed us that he was doing some improvements on the house as soon as we get back.  Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
As the improvements began we could see they were going to go on for a long time.  This was not to our liking, and we decided to move.
Soooooooooo we began to look for a mobile home in the area.  This is something I have been wanting to do for a long time, but we still had Richard with us so we had to make sure we could take him with us.  As we looked, and looked, and looked, and looked we always came back to the same place.
We found a wonderful mobile home in Anaheim, and after many lenders we finally found one that would lend us the finances to buy our new home.  Well its new to us, but it is actually 11 years old.
In January we moved, and have very much enjoyed our new home.  It needed some work, and since Mike was not working he had a lot of time to fix it.  He washed things, painted, ripped up carpet, and made everything look brand spanking new.

Now at present we are preparing for Richard & Destiny's wedding.  We have 2 1/2 months before that big day.  Oh happy day, Oh, happy day!

We have had some emotional times, some sad times, some happy times, and some very good times in the last six months.  We had babies born, thanksgiving, Christmas, we moved, a friend died, and now the wedding.  My brother will be coming out, and Aaron, April and babies will come too. A real family affair that I am looking forward to.  I get to love on my grandbabies, hug my brother a time or two, see my oldest marry, see my youngest and family for  week.
All this made possible by the One who really matters.  With the Lord Jesus Christ none of this would matter anyway.  He has sustained us through the good times, and the bad.  Come let us worship and bow down!  Praise Him! Praise Him!
Until next time, which I hope will be soon.
To God be the glory great things He has done
